National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Along with the relationship building, there will be multiple activities for the children and you. You will have up close and personal contact with Doraville’s finest and the equipment they use to keep our community safe. DeKalb Fire Department will be bringing some of their firefighting equipment. Multiple other law enforcement and public safety agencies will be in attendance including the Drug Enforcement Administration, US Attorney’s Office, Georgia State Patrol and DeKalb Solicitor’s Office.
