On April 18, 2017, Wesley Whatley from Macy's Entertainment paid a visit to Woodland High School to inform the members of the Woodland High School Wildcat Marching Band that they were selected to represent the state of Georgia in the 2018 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City!
