Logic dropped a surprise song and video last night titled, "Overnight."
Text on the screen at the beginning of the video sets up the premise: "We took a trip to Maui & Tokyo to record some music. While there Logic said, 'Yo let's shoot a music video...F**K IT.'"
As MTV News reports, the video finds the rapper alternating between joyfully dancing his way through the streets of Tokyo and having a pool party in Maui. At one point, he also gets a fresh tattoo with Japanese characters. In the lyrics, Logic addresses the haters' belief that he's an overnight success, saying, "Tell me, is it really so hard, really so hard, to stop acting like a b**ch? / I treated everybody with respect and now I'm rich."
