Apple Employees Called 911 After Walking Into See-Through HQ

Took a little field trip to the new Apple Park this morning. Only got to explore the visitor’s center for a bit, but suffice to say the place is a marvel of modern design and construction. . . . . . #iphoneography #applepark #apple #diagonal_symmetry #archimasters #lookingup_architecture #unlimitedcities #stilllife #wandereveryweekend #excellent_structure #todays_simplicity #nothingisordinary #iphonephotography #tablesituation #arquitecturamx #icu_architecture #iphoneography #arkiromantix #tv_architectural #iphoneonly #cupsinframe #still_life_gallery #iphonesia #creative_architecture

Siri, call 911! That's what at least three employees at Apple's new "spaceship" campus did in January after walking into the state-of-the-art building's see-through glass walls. "Um, I walked into a glass door on the first floor of Apple Park when I was trying to go outside, which was very silly," one of the employees told a 911 dispatcher. The other two reportedly cut open their eyebrows slamming into the glass.

According to The San Francisco Chronicle, Apple has since placed rectangular stickers on the building's glass panes so people can see them before they crash into them. Too bad there isn't an app for that.
