Woman Finds Tinder on BF's Phone, Attacks Him With Samurai Sword

A Washington state woman has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly attacking her boyfriend with a samurai sword after finding Tinder on his phone and red hair in his shower drain.

On Saturday morning, Camas police responded to a 911 call from 30-year-old Emily Javier reporting that she had just stabbed her boyfriend and thought he was dead. When they arrived at the scene, Javier walked out covered in blood and crying.

Inside the home, they found 29-year-old Alex Lovell curled up in the bedroom as he bled from multiple life-threatening injuries. He is currently in the hospital recovering from his wounds. Javier told police that she she did not confront Lovell about cheating on her because he had denied it in the past. Instead, she bought a samurai sword at a mall and attacked him with it after he fell asleep.
