The City of Norcross is going Red, White & BOOM! for America this 3rd of July, inviting one and all to their annual pre-Fourth of July block party. The good times start with a bang at 5 p.m. with bounce houses (nominal fee), face painting and an assortment of food vendors. Visit our local hotspots for libations and victuals, or one of our many merchants for some patriotic loot! Then dance to the beat of local talent in the park before settling down to watch fireworks light up the night sky.
The Scoop
Time: 5 - 10 p.m. (fireworks around 9:40 p.m. or a few minutes past dusk)
Location: All of downtown Norcross—the kid zone will be on downtown streets, musical artists will be performing in Lillian Webb Park, artists/vendors will be stationed downtown and food trucks can be found at Lillian Webb Park.

Best Spot for Fireworks Viewing: Lillian Webb Park! Please note that Norcross is an active railroad crossing location and train tracks are not safe for watching the show.
To Bring or Not To Bring, That is the Question:
Feel free to bring your blankets and chairs to get comfy for the firework show and family fun all day long! Please note, however, that shade structures (tents or umbrellas) are not allowed and will have to be dismantled
You may bring alcohol, however glass, cans and bottles are not allowed on site and your beverage must be in a cup no larger than 16 oz. Open containers are permitted within barricaded areas only. Alcohol will be on sale on site.
While you are welcome to bring a picnic for the lawn, we hope you’ll help us celebrate one of the best things about America—FOOD—with some of the best tasting creations on four wheels. Food trucks will be on site at Lillian Webb offering delectable meals, snacks and treats for your pleasure and convenience. No sense lugging a heavy picnic basket when you don’t have to, eh?
Parking and Transportation
Don’t miss out on the festivities or show while looking for a parking space. Free parking will be available at Norcross First United Methodist Church with a shuttle running continuously to downtown Norcross. The shuttle will begin at 4 p.m. and run every 30 minutes until 10 p.m. It is $5 to park your car and ride the shuttle. Additional parking is located at 5735 Buford Hwy, Norcross, GA 30071 and is also $5 to park.
ADA parking will be available at City Hall (65 Lawrenceville Street). City staff will be available to transport seniors or anyone needing assistance that day via golf carts at each of the respective parking locations.

The following streets will be closed from 3 p.m. until approximately midnight on July 3rd:
- Britt Street at Bostic Street
- College Street at Holcomb Bridge Rd
- Thrasher Street at Holcomb Bridge Rd
- Skin Alley at Holcomb Bridge Rd
- Bostic Street at Holcomb Bridge Rd
- South Peachtree St at Holcomb Bridge Rd
- Lawrenceville Street at Mitchell Rd
- Park Drive at North Peachtree St
- Wingo Street at 168 Wingo St
- Wingo St behind Paizano’s (7 Jones St) at rear parking lot entrance/exit
- South Peachtree St at Carlyle St

Worried we don't have enough restrooms? With over 40 bathrooms on site, you’ll find one on every street so you don't have to stress. And plenty of handicap capable ones as well!
Did you know there’s a Red, White & BOOM! signature drink? Raise your glasses high and cheers with your fellow neighbors in a toast to America!
Last but not least, please note that Norcross City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, the 4th of July, in observance of Independence Day.
