On Wednesday (January 9), the “Good As Hell” singer took some time away from her touring schedule to support the Foodbank Australia warehouse in Melbourne, where the pop star help people in need who have been affected by the bushfires sweeping through the country. Per images and videos shared online, Lizzo helped pack hampers and distribute boxes of food and water to provide relief to communities who have been impacted by the natural disaster.

"Beautiful @lizzobeeating stopped by our @foodbankvictoria warehouse today to thank our hardworking team and vollies who have been working tirelessly for the past 6 days,” the organization captioned an image with Lizzo helping at one of its mobile market stations. “What a ⭐️ she even packed hampers for fire-affected regions. Thank you for the support 🙌🏼💜👊🏻”

“Y’all hate on lizzo, but she’s taking time out of her aussie tour to help those impacted by the bushfires !!! maybe i stan? @lizzo,” a fan tweeted along with a video of the vocalist in action. Following her act of altruism, Lizzo went on to perform at the Forum Melbourne later that evening.
