Stripper Falls Off Two-Story Pole, Breaks Her Jaw, Keeps Twerking

Thankfully, Genea Sky is doing okay after falling 15-feet off a stripper pole.

The exotic dancer, who works at a famed Texas strip club, seriously injured herself this weekend when she was performing onstage. After getting to the top of a two-story pole, Genea came tumbling down, landing on her face. However, as seen in the now-viral video of the incident, Genea handled the fall like a pro, bouncing right back up and continuing to twerk.

Genea later took to Instagram to reveal that she suffered some serious injuries from the fall, including a broken jaw, cracked teeth, and a sprained ankle. "I didn't plan on posting about this situation at all, but obviously the video has gone viral and I'm getting a lot of messages asking me if I'm okay, so I decided I'd update everybody and let everyone know what's going on," she explained. "I pretty much broke my jaw and I have to have surgery on it tomorrow."

"I broke some teeth and I got a sprained ankle and I got some stitches but aside from that I'm good," Gena continued. "I have no broken limbs. I walked away myself. I got up right after it happened."

She went on to thank those who have reached out to support her since her scary fall, saying, "I'm just really overwhelmed by all the messages and everything. I'm so thankful for all the positive messages I've been getting and all the love. It really means a lot. That's why I decided to post this video just to say thank you and let you guys know I am having a hard time, but I am okay, and I'm going to be okay."

"It's just a really humbling experience to just be alive," Genea said through tears. "I'm really thankful for that. That's what's most important to me at this very moment is that I have my life. Even with my injury to my face it still could have been a lot worse. So thank you, guys. I really appreciate it. I didn't want to cry but I can't make this video without crying [...] I'm good. So thank you, guys."

Genea's friends have set up a GoFundMe to help cover her medical expenses. As of 1:00 p.m. ET on Monday (February 10) the GoFundMe had already raked in $17,820 of its $20,000 goal.
