ALEC BALDWIN CANCELS ALL PROJECTS IN SHOOTING AFTERMATH

It’ll be a while before we see Alec Baldwin around. After the fatal shooting on the New Mexico set of “Rust” that left cinematographer Halyna Hutchins dead, he’s canceling other projects.

An insider said that the 63-year-old plans to “take some time to himself and re-center himself.” “This is how he handles difficult times,” the source said. “Whenever something bad happens, in the short term, he removes himself from [the] public eye.” Apparently it’ll take him some time to figure things out after this devastating ordeal.

In the immediate aftermath, Alec took to Twitter to convey his thoughts. “There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours,” he said. “I'm fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.”
