JUSSIE SMOLLETT'S TRIAL ON FAKING HATE CRIME STARTS TODAY

Jussie Smollett is finally getting his day in court for allegedly faking a racist and homophobic attack back in January 2019. As I told you, he was originally charged with filing a fake police report when investigators discovered that he allegedly paid two brothers to stage the crime against him because he wasn’t happy with his “Empire” salary.

Those charges were dropped by Cook County State Attorney Kim Foxx’s office - in exchange for paying a fine and performing community service. With outrage ensuing over a celebrity potentially getting special treatment, a judge then assigned a special prosecutor to the case, who charged Smollett with six new counts of disorderly conduct in February 2020.

Disorderly conduct is a class four felony. If Jussie is convicted, he could face up to three years in prison. However, legal experts have said that it’s more likely that he’ll be placed on probation and perhaps ordered to perform more community service.

YE TALKS MISTAKES WITH KIM K. AT LA MISSION EVENT

Kim Kardashian may be moving on with Pete Davidson, but the artist formerly known as Kanye West isn’t willing to let her go so easily. In fact, he says he’s trying his best to win her back.

During an appearance at the Los Angeles Mission's Annual Thanksgiving event, Ye gave a speech about his family, the mistakes he's made, and how God wants him to reunite with his estranged wife. “The narrative God wants is to see that we can be redeemed in all these relationships,” he shared. “We've made mistakes. I've made mistakes. I've publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now today, for whatever reason — I didn't know I was going to be in front of this mic — but I'm here to change the narrative.”

After insisting that neither Hulu or E! would write his family’s story, Ye went on to say, “If the enemy can separate Kimye, there's going to be millions of families that feel like that separation is okay
but when God brings Kimye together, there's going to be millions of families that are going to be influenced to see that they can overcome the work of the separation, of trauma the devil has used to capitalize to keep people in misery while people step over homeless people to go to the Gucci store.”
