Doja Cat Helps Taco Bell Announce Return Of The Mexican Pizza

Taco Bell fans can rejoice because the Mexican fast food chain is bringing back a fan favorite, and they’ve enlisted Doja Cat to break the happy news.

The company just announced that the Mexican Pizza is returning to menus next month, with Doja, described as ““the voice of the Taco Bell people,” announcing the news not only on Twitter and TikTok, but during her set at Coachella this weekend.

"We finally did it, the Mexican Pizza is coming back on 5/19 @tacoBell," she wrote, alongside video of her telling the Coachella audience: "I brought back the Mexican Pizza by the way!"

Doja has actually been campaigning for the pizza’s return since 2021, tweeting, “Hey @tacobell, just heard my song in your commercial...,” adding, “I’m a #TacoBellPartner now. So where’s my Mexican Pizza?”

The Mexican Pizza, which was retired in September, 2020, was so beloved by fans that more than 200,000 people signed a Change.org petition demanding the chain bring the pizza back. It will return to the menu on May 19th, although loyalty members will get early access to it beginning May 17th.

New Species Of Millipede Named After Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has been given a new honor, well sort of. Scientists have just named a new millipede after the singer. The new species of millipede from the Appalachian Mountains will now be known as the Nannaria swiftae, or the Swift Twisted-Claw Millipede.

Virginia Tech scientists Derek Hennen, Jackson Means, and Paul Marek named the Swift millipede, along with 15 other new species. Hennen, the lead author, is a Swiftie, and choose this specific millipede because as of now it’s only been found in Tennessee,

“Her music helped me get through the highs and lows of graduate school,” Hennen notes, “so naming a new millipede species after her is my way of saying thanks.”

So far Taylor hasn’t commented on her millepede.
