Tyler Perry Says Being In The Middle Of Chris Rock, Will Smith "Is Hard"

There’s nothing worse than being in the middle of two beefing friends. Just ask Tyler Perry. Not only is he friends with both Will Smith and Chris Rock, but he was also present for the infamous slap on Oscar night.

While we all saw Tyler speak to Will, he told Gayle King during the Directors Series at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City, he said he spoke with Chris first because the slap “was wrong in no uncertain terms.” He told Will that it was wrong, too. “When we walked over to him, he was devastated. He couldn’t believe what happened.”

Both Tyler and Bradley Cooper were photographed speaking with Will right after the incident. When asked if he was comforting Jada’s husband, he said it wasn’t the time for that. “There’s a difference between comforting and deescalating,” he explained. “Being friends with both of them, it’s been very difficult.”

Brad Pitt & Gwyneth Paltrow Admit Love For Each Other

During a Goop interview about Brad Pitt’s cashmere brand that’s approved by the Gwyneth Paltrow company, the two talked about their engagement and time together. Paltrow asked Pitt about his bond with her father, Bruce Paltrow, who she says really loved Pitt, asking “Why did you love him, even though we didn’t get married, unfortunately.”

Brad made a joke about “everything working out,” and Gwyneth fired right back with “Yes, it does. I finally found the Brad I was supposed to marry. It just took me 20 years,” referring to her husband, Brad Falchuk.

It was all in fun, as Pitt replied, “And it’s lovely to have you as a friend now. And I do love you.” Paltrow replied, “I love you so much.” SO why did they split up in 1997? Gwyneth says she was too young. “I was such a kid, I was 22 when we met,” adding that it took her until 40 to figure herself out, adding, “I think I was a kid and I wasn’t ready, and he was too good for me.”

BTS Taking Break To Explore Solo Projects

The BTS Army got some sad news yesterday. The K-Pop group announced they are taking a break, although they assured fans it is not a “hiatus,” as initially reported.

The band shared the news of their time off during their FESTA dinner video, celebrating their ninth anniversary. “We're each going to take some time to have fun and experience lots of things," Jungkook said. "We promise we will return someday, even more mature than we are now."

RM noted, "I always thought that BTS was different from other groups, but the problem with K-pop and the whole idol system is that they don't give you time to mature. You have to keep producing music and keep doing something."

Jimin added they “want to be the kind of artists that are remembered by our fans. I think now we're starting to think about what kind of artists we each want to be remembered by our fans." He also admitted they were “going through a rough patch right now,” noting, “we’re trying to find our identity and that’s an exhausting and long process.”

But after initial reports described their break as a “hiatus,” reps for the band were quick to clarify, noting, “To be clear, they are not on hiatus but will take time to explore some solo projects at this time and remain active in various different formats.”
