Britney Spears Denies Body-Shaming Christina Aguilera After Christina Unfollows Her

Christina Aguilera has unfollowed Britney Spears on Instagram. This comes after Brit allegedly body-shamed Christina’s backup dancers in an Insta post.

On Monday night, Brit posted a text pic of a Rodney Dangerfield quote that read, “I found there was only one way to look thin: hang out with fat people.” In the caption, she wrote, “I wish I could have chosen the nannies for my children … my dancers … I mean if I had Christina Aguilera’s dancers I would have looked extremely small.”

The post itself got a lot of backlash from fans, but Britney later took to social media to set the record straight and insist she wasn't body-shaming her fellow singer.

  • "By no means was I being critical of Christina’s beautiful body, it is what it is !!," she writes. "I flew to see her show once and the main thing I noticed was the difference of our people on stage !!!," adding, "By no means did I even mention Christina, look at my post !!! I was inspired by her show and she is a beautiful woman of power … Thank you @xtina for inspiring me !!!"
  • Britney adds that she wasn't being "critical of anybody," noting, "What I posted is a projection of the insecurities I deal with all the time as a result of how my parents and the media have treated me …," adding, "I would never intentionally body shame anybody because I know what it feels like."

Demi Lovato Says Tour Will Be Her Last

Demi Lovato is currently on her “HOLY FVCK” and it sounds like fans better catch it when it comes to their town because they may not get another chance to see her on tour. The singer just shared in a since-deleted post to her Instagram Story that she’s done with touring after this.

"I'm so f---ing sick I can't get out of bed 😞🤒 I can't do this anymore,” she shared. “This next tour will be my last. I love and thank you guys.”

So far Demi hasn’t elaborated on the post. Her tour is set to hit Wheatland, California on September 22nd.
