Alec Baldwin Succeeds In Settling "Rust" Wrongful Death Suit

The saga of "Rust" - the film production - has ended. "Rust" will resume production as a settlement was reached between all parties. The agreement was made with the estate of late cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was killed on set last year. Her widower Matthew Hutchins announced the settlement.

"As part of that settlement, our case will be dismissed,” Hutchins said. “The filming of ‘Rust,’ which I will now executive produce, will resume with all the original principal players on board in January 2023.”

As for blaming Baldwin? “I have no interest in engaging in recriminations or attribution of blame (to the producers or Mr. Baldwin)," Hutchins noted. "All of us believe Halyna’s death was a terrible accident. I am grateful that the producers and the entertainment community have come together to pay tribute to Halyna’s final work.”

  • That may be, but according to TMZ, there's still a criminal investigation that's working its way through the system - and based on recent revelations from the Santa Fe County DA Alec is not out of the woods, and very well might be prosecuted.

Adam Levine Reportedly Peeved About "SNL" Send Up of his Scandal

Hollywood Life reports they've gotten word from a source - Adam Levine caught the 'SNL' sendup of his DM debacle - and he is not pleased.

“Adam was in Las Vegas this past weekend performing with his band, so he did not see the ‘SNL’ skit live, but he did watch a minute of it online before stopping,” a source told HL. “He feels the same about this that he does about the other memes and jokes that have been going around about it. He does not think it is funny and he thinks that it is disrespectful to Behati (Prinsloo, Levine's wife). He is unimpressed and, of course, he is still embarrassed. He just wants this to all blow over and wants his fans to just focus on his music, not his personal life.”

It’s been nearly a month since Levine was first accused of sending racy DM’s to Instagram model Sumner Stroh — along with four other women — who shared their text conversations publicly on social media. Once the DM's became public, the meme-ification of Levine began in earnest - and 'SNL' spoofed the situation on their October 1 episode. See the "unfunny, disrespectful" skit here --->

Justin Bieber Supports Wifey Hailey In Latest Selena "Scandal"

Justin Bieber is standing with his wife after she set the record straight about their history with Selena Gomez. As I previously told oyu, Hailey Bieber cleared up any confusion by laying out the timeline of their relationships on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, where she said, “I know for a fact that we were able to get back together because it was very much completely closed (between Justin and Selena).”

And her man reportedly “didn’t have an issue” with anything she revealed. According to a source, “Justin’s proud of Hailey for being herself and thought the whole interview was super cool.” The insider claims that Hailey is ignoring “any negativity that still comes her way” after breaking her silence on her husband’s past with Selena.

“Hailey felt she needed to address that elephant in the room and clear the air with regards to how she and Justin got together, now she’s moved on and doesn’t want to address it,” the source explains. They add that Mrs. Bieber is “very happy in herself right now” and that “she won’t let the haters win.”
