Kaley Cuoco easily reminded us sheâs one of our idols after she delivered an inspirational interview with Womenâs Health magazine for their November 2018 issue. In the candid Q+A, the Big Bang Theory star said that sheâd be âfineâ if her husband, Karl Cook, left her tomorrow because sheâs secure in herself and has made sure she'll always be.
After some stretched her quotes to emphasize a potential end to her marriage, she clarified to Ryan Seacrest on-air on Thursday, October 11, that no, she doesnât want her hubby to bail đ, she just wants to send an important PSA to women.
âI had to call in because itâs so funny that one quote youâre talking about has been taken a little out of context and only because yes I would be very upset if my husband left me, with that being said, I think in this climate and age women need to know that they are OK on their own and they can be stable without anybody else,â the actress explained. âItâs very, very important that weâre not relying on other people. We have to rely on ourselves and I think women sometimes get lost in that.â
Cuoco, who tied the knot with the equestrian in June after two years of dating and following her divorce from ex-husband Ryan Sweeting, added that she couldnât be in a better place.
âI feel like Iâm a new person now and I can be on my own,â she added. âYes, I would be devastated if my husband left me, but at the same time, I know that I would be OK and thatâs kind of what I was trying to say.â
The actress confirmed in the Womenâs Health interview that things have never been better and itâs in part due to their similarities.
âWe bonded a lot of having the same kind of outlooks on life, insecurities, dating,â she told the mag. âHe comes from a very well-to-do family, so thereâs all these [preconceived ideas] of being spoiled, and blah, blah, blah. And heâs just the opposite.â
He also never dated her for her fame.
âIt was great because he never kissed my ass at all, and he never cared about any of that,â she concluded. âHe loved that I loved horses. It became a big talking point for us.â
