Do you make your bed every morning? Ryan Seacrest is “obsessed with people’s morning habits” and did a deep dive when it comes to the importance of making your bed daily.
“I’m obsessed with people’s morning habits,” he shared on-air on Friday, October 12. “I don’t know why … but I'm really into people’s routines — just general routines.”
Sisanie makes half of the bed (aka her side), while Tanya gives herself an extra 10 minutes each morning to make the whole bed “crisp” and Patty doesn’t touch it until the weekends when she’s cleaning.
As for Ryan? He also doesn’t make the bed.
“I don’t because it’s like a sprint the second the alarm goes off,” he explained. “It’s interesting [though] because it really tells you a lot about a person if they do or don’t make their bed."
So what do they say?
"They say that if you make your bed everyday you actually have more intimacy than those who do not make their bed," Ryan revealed. "[They also] say you’re happier and more productive.”
And if you don’t make your bed, Ryan added, you’re allegedly shy and moody 😂
According to multiple reports, making your bed daily can also help you start your day off on the right foot, and, not to mention, encourage you to keep the rest of your room — or life! — in order.
