MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY DISCUSSES RUN FOR GOVERNOR
Will he or won’t he – that’s the question when it comes to Matthew McConaughey running for governor in Texas. He recently discussed it with Kara Swisher on her Sway podcast.
The Oscar winner says he’s “measuring” the idea. When the “New York Times” reporter presses him on exactly what he’s measuring, he tells her that he’s trying to figure out how he can do the most good for the most people.
For the most part, the Texas native – who hasn’t identified his party affiliation – doesn’t seem to be enthused about trying to unseat the current holder of the governorship, Republican Gregg Abbott. And since he’s convinced that politics is “broken,” he thinks he might have more influence as an informal leader.

Britney Spears just welcomed a new member to her family. The singer’s fiancé Sam Asghari surprised her with a new Doberman puppy. “Surprised my fiancé with our newest member to the Family ❤️ Porsha,” he shared.
Sam later explained to Brit, "Her name is Porsha and she's meant to unconditionally love you and is going to be trained to protect you from any motherf***** that comes around you with bad intentions."
