FOOTBALL PLAYERS BORN EARLY IN THE YEAR MORE LIKELY TO SUCCEED

According to a new study from Dartmouth College, boys born in January, February or March are more likely to play in the NFL than boys born in any other month.

Researchers found that players born in these early months develop faster than other -- slightly younger -- players.

It seems that being just a bit older gives these boys a bit of an edge on the playing field. And, this slight edge also probably gives them a boost in confidence, which can be enough to carry them right to the pros. (Phys Org)

CRIME FIGHTING ROBOT PATROLLING STREETS IN CALIFORNIA

Police in Huntington Park, California, are fighting crime with a robot that strolls sidewalks, using a 360-degree camera to look for bad guys.

The robot -- which they’re calling “HP Robocop” -- will keep an eye on areas such as parks and city buildings.

HP RoboCop has also been programmed to say things like “excuse me” and “good day to you” when it crosses paths with actual humans. (KABC-TV)

Have You Ever Eaten Anything Gross to Win a Bet?

The Interwebs are still buzzing about the guy at a minor league baseball game caught on camera eating a tub of mayonnaise with a spoon.

Maybe it was lunch? Or, maybe he was paying off a bet

Have you ever eaten anything gross to win a bet? How about to pay off a bet?

Let’s talk about mayonnaise

If you stood to win a bet, how much mayonnaise do you think you could eat?

The stuff is mostly egg yolk and oil. And, it’s not for everyone.

Do you have a no tolerance policy when it comes to mayo?

Hmmmmmm MAYO!

Sounds tasty!

Check back for more... soon! And thanks for choosing to #ReadThisFIRST, you guys!
