Ripley's Museum Says Kim K Didn't Damage Marilyn's Dress
Kim Kardashian had everyone talking when she wore Marilyn Monoreâs iconic dress to the 2022 Met Gala and now allegations are floating around that she damaged it along the way. But Ripleyâs Believe It or Not! is setting the record straight.
A photo allegedly showing the famous frock before and after Kimmy enjoyed an evening in it at the fashion event shows it looking pristine before, but after? Not so much. But a rep for Ripleyâs - who bought the dress in 2016 for $4.8-million - is stepping up to defend Kim.
According to the rep, a report on the dressâ condition back in 2017 states, âa number of the seams are pulled and worn. This is not surprising given how delicate the material is.â It also notes that âthere is puckering at the back by the hooks and eyes.â So the âbeforeâ photo was taken before Ripleyâs even acquired the gown, which was worn by Marylin in 1962 when she sang to JFK on his birthday.
Aanda Joiner, Ripleyâs VP of Publishing and Licensing, who was with Kim and the dress the entire time at The Met, confirms she didnât cause it any harm. âFrom the bottom of the Met steps, where Kim got into the dress, to the top where it was returned, the dress was in the same condition it started in,â she says.

Britney's Mom Has Had Enough Of Her Ranting; Plus Brit Shuts Down Insta
Britney Spears has been using her Instagram to speak out about the treatment she experienced from her family during her conservatorship, and it appears her mother Lynne Spears has had enough.
After Britneyâs recent post, an inspirational video with a voiceover that said âAnd donât you ever forget how they gave you distance when you needed love,â fans noticed Lynne commented with âYou have got to be kidding me!!â with an eye roll emoji.
She must have realized she did a bad thing because Lynne deleted the post within minutes.
- But for now, it looks like Lynne won't have to deal with Britney's social media rantings. As of yesterday the singer deactivated her Instagram account. Of course this doesn't mean it's necessarily permanent. She's has shut her account down before, only to activate it weeks later.

Depp/Heard Juror Reveals They Just Didnât Believe Her
A juror from the Johnny Depp â Amber Heard defamation trial spoke to âGood Morning Americaâ about the verdict in favor of Depp and said that Heardâs emotional testimony during the trial was not realistic. âThe crying, the facial expressions that she had, the staring at the jury. All of us were very uncomfortable,â the juror said.
âShe would answer one question and she would be crying, and two seconds later she would turn ice cold. Some of us used the expression âcrocodile tears.ââ While Heardâs team has claimed that social media swayed the jury in favor of Depp, the juror denied the accusations, saying, âWe followed the evidenceâĻmyself and other jurors donât use Twitter or Facebook.â
The juror concluded by saying âWhat I think is truthful is that they were both abusive to each other. I donât think that makes either of them right or wrong...but to rise to the level of what she was claiming, there wasnât enough or any evidence.â
